Cette compagnie poss\u00e8dera jusqu\u2019\u00e0 16 navires dont le plus gros le Ville de Paris jaugeait 3500 tonneaux. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1906 il est revendu \u00e0 la Compagnie Becchi Lalagno de Savone. Il navigue d\u00e8s lors sous le nom d\u2019<em>Amor<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est en 1912 qu\u2019il sera baptis\u00e9 Togo apr\u00e8s l\u2019acquisition qu\u2019en fait la compagnie g\u00e9noise Ilva. Apr\u00e8s les fruits, c\u2019est le charbon que le Togo transporte dans toute la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. Il sort presque indemne de la premi\u00e8re guerre mondiale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Naufrage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est le 12 mai 1918 qu&rsquo;il heurte une mine de 150 kg laiss\u00e9 par le <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Unterseeboot_35_(1914)\">sous-marin UC 35<\/a> (mouilleur de mines c\u00f4tier). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coup\u00e9 en deux et coule imm\u00e9diatement en rade de Cavalaire, \u00e0 500 m\u00e8tres plein ouest de la pointe Dubreuil.<br>C&rsquo;est cinquante neuf ans plus tard, un peu part hasard, que le biologiste et plongeur Richard Calmes l\u2019a retrouv\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>La plong\u00e9e<\/strong>&#8230;<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"566\" height=\"159\" src=\"https:\/\/lavandou.epi-plongee.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/togo-schema.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-779\" style=\"aspect-ratio:3.559748427672956;width:739px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Sch\u00e9ma : Cristina Franco<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plong\u00e9e sur \u00e9pave \u00e0 -60m<\/strong> (comptez 35 minutes de navigation depuis le club)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Comme le <a href=\"https:\/\/lavandou.epi-plongee.fr\/?page_id=518\"><strong>Donator<\/strong><\/a> et le <a href=\"https:\/\/lavandou.epi-plongee.fr\/?page_id=643\"><strong>Rubis<\/strong><\/a>, c&rsquo;est une \u00e9pave mythique de m\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. Cette plong\u00e9e s&rsquo;adresse \u00e0 des plongeurs aguerri et bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9. On ne fait pas le Togo apr\u00e8s 2 ans sans plonger&#8230; Il faut \u00eatre entrainer aux grandes profondeurs (Attention narcose).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La descente se fait par l&rsquo;avant ou par l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re au bout dans le bleu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ne penser pas tout visiter en une seule fois. L&rsquo;\u00e9pave est vraiment grande et on a peu de temps au fond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9pave est p\u00e9n\u00e9trante et il y a beaucoup \u00e0 faire. Le pont avant est \u00e0 48 m environ. Le bas de la proue est \u00e0 54 m environ, il est int\u00e9ressant de s&rsquo;en \u00e9loigner pour voir la hauteur du navire. on peut passer dans l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re est \u00e0 59 m.
